Class Descriptions
"On Fire" Teen Belly Dance $25 for 6 weeks - Students will build a vocabulary of movement inspired by cultures of the Middle East and North Africa. The history, culture, and attire of this diverse art form will also be covered. Students will learn an Egyptian Pharonic choreography. Please bring a scarf to tie around your hips to accentuate movement. This is a co-ed class... we encourage both male and female students to participate! Opportunities to perform will be provided! *Enrollment for this class is through Fire. Please contact Michelle at 269.344.6659.
Price: Suggested $25 but youth will not be turned away if they express interest and commitment.
Children's Belly Dance $48/six weeks or $10 drop in -
By popular demand, a children's Belly Dance class! Students will learn basic Belly Dance steps and isolations through choreography. Please have children dress in comfortable clothing. Please no dresses or skirts, as we will be doing some floor exercises. Opportunities to perform will be provided, but not mandatory.
